Top: Urban Outfitters | Skirt: c/o ASOS | Shoes: Birkenstocks | Sunnies: Urban Outfitters

I’m not going to lie, I hated this skirt when it arrived at my doorstep (aka in my cabin at camp). It was too printed, too intense, too layered, too everything. There was so much going on and I was absolutely intimidated. Yes, I was intimidated by a skirt. I wanted to show off my new Birks and be all Burlington-cool, so I just wung (winged?) it. I went from hating this skirt to loving it, and I can’t wait to wear it again when I have full access to my closet, as opposed to only being able to choose from things I could fit in a trunk. Midi skirts are surprisingly versatile. They can be granola-esque, with Birks and a crop top, or they can be normal looking or even dressed up. Also, this particular midi skirt is quite easy to wear. It’s comfortable and stretchy, and the colors of the print are neutral enough to go with other colors yet bright enough to be enough on their own. I also love the modified chevron-esque print, it’s so great.

You should all check out other amazing ASOS Midi Skirts, I know I definitely will be ordering some more! They have such a wide variety of lengths, patterns and shapes, you are sure to find something to match your own style. You can even find one that will match with your Birkenstocks!

Also, shout out to Zoe M-P for forcing me to try this skirt on and pushing me to buy Birkenstocks. They both rock, and she does too. She rocks so much she made the blog. Ten points for Zoe.

SOTD: “Can’t Feel My Face” by The Weeknd. It’s so ridiculous yet so catchy at the same time I can’t tell if I love it or I hate it. As of right now, I love it, but this is definitely subject to change.

Peace n Blessings

  1. The skirt is gorgeous! And the way you paired it is so pretty. Like you said, midi skirts are great for being either dressed up or dressed down – I think I might head over to ASOS now to buy one!
